Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 May 2026
This policy explains what personal data Coordination Studio collects, why, and what your rights are. Coordination Studio is run by Jen Jeng, based in Eton, Berkshire, UK. Questions? Email hello@coordinationstudio.com.
Who's responsible for your data
Coordination Studio (Jen Jeng) is the data controller, which means I decide what data is collected and how it's used. Contact: hello@coordinationstudio.com.
What I collect, and why
- When you visit the site. I plan to use Google Analytics to understand how people find and move around the site so I can improve it. Once it is enabled, it will collect usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, how you arrived) via cookies, and only if you accept analytics cookies. Lawful basis: your consent. You can accept or decline analytics cookies (see the Cookie Policy).
- When you book a call. Bookings run through Cal.com. You provide your name, email, and anything you add. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before a contract.
- When you take the AI Fluency Assessment. Your answers and result are stored securely in Supabase so I can generate your result and, if you ask, follow up. Lawful basis: your consent.
- When you contact me. If you email or message me, I receive your name, email, and message. Lawful basis: my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Who I share it with
I do not sell or rent your data. I use a few trusted providers ("processors") to run the site and my work, each processing data only on my instructions:
- Google Analytics (Google) - website analytics (planned)
- Cal.com - call bookings
- Supabase - secure storage of assessment data
- Google Workspace / Gmail - email
Some providers may store or process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the UK extension to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long I keep it
I keep personal data only as long as I need it: enquiry and booking data for up to 24 months after our last contact; assessment data for up to 12 months, or until you ask me to delete it; and, once analytics is enabled, analytics data per Google Analytics retention settings (currently 14 months).
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask me to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the use of your data, or receive a copy to reuse elsewhere. You can withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@coordinationstudio.com and I'll respond within one month.
Cookies
The site uses cookies, including analytics cookies that only load if you consent. See the Cookie Policy for detail.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, please tell me first so I can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes
I'll update this policy when my practices change, and the date at the top will reflect the latest version.
